We are looking for talented engineers (Java and AWS) to join a forward thinking, modern organisation operating in the Secure Government Sectors (National Security, Defence, PubSec). As a result, the right candidate MUST BE A SOLE BRITISH NATIONAL AND HAVE LIVED IN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS. You do not have to hold Government clearance, but you will be required to attain a high level of clearance.

You will responsible for the design and development of complex software solutions for a range of Government organisations across National Security, Defence and the Public Sector. You will primarily be focused on development, there will be opportunities to be involved in architecture, mentor junior members of staff and lead on projects, depending on your level of experience – the opportunities for progression and personal development are numerous. You’ll be involved from end to end, conception to delivery working with a variety contemporary, emerging pieces of tech.

Initially, you will be working closely with a Central Government client using interesting tech, doing interesting work all ultimately with the aim of keeping the country safe. There are a plethora of opportunities to get involved with a number of different projects right across the Secure UK Government Sectors.

Skills/Experience

  • You must have demonstrable, working knowledge in Java and AWS
  • An understanding of other languages so that you are adaptable and versatile
  • Worked in an agile environment using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • A willingness to learn, and take advantage of the upskilling provided
