Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain expenses database, determine fixed costs and analyse profit margins.
  • Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
  • Make estimates of new and product costs.
  • Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
  • Handling inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Performing month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accounting & CPA 3
  • Over 3 years experience working in a busy environment with prior experience as a Cost Accountant in a busy manufacturing company
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical, problem solving, planning and prioritizing skills
