Cost Accountant – Industrial Area at Brites Management
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain expenses database, determine fixed costs and analyse profit margins.
- Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Make estimates of new and product costs.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
- Handling inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Performing month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting & CPA 3
- Over 3 years experience working in a busy environment with prior experience as a Cost Accountant in a busy manufacturing company
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical, problem solving, planning and prioritizing skills
