Job Description
Job Purpose:
As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Development team by assisting in various digital marketing activities. Your primary responsibilities will include Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management, Email Marketing, and Job Advertising. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and support our clients’ marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO:
- Create and optimise high-quality blog posts and landing pages to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.Â
- Perform on-page optimization, including keyword research, meta tag optimization, and content formatting.Â
- Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics (GA) and Google Search Console (GSC) to identify areas for improvement.Â
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow our social media communities on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.Â
- Develop and schedule engaging and relevant content to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.Â
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with our audience.Â
Email Marketing:
- Assist in creating compelling copy for email sequences and promotional emails tailored to our clients’ needs.Â
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective email marketing campaigns.Â
- Monitor and report on the performance of email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Â
Job Advertising:
- Support the marketing team in advertising job openings on our website and across social media platforms.Â
- Create visually appealing and informative job advertisements using Canva and Adobe Suite.Â
- Ensure all job advertisements are aligned with our brand guidelines and effectively reach the target audience.Â
Qualifications:
- A diploma, bachelor’s degree, or certification in Communication, Marketing, PR, or a related field.Â
- Up to one year of experience in digital marketing, demonstrating a keen interest in the field.Â
- Proven passion for SEO and web copywriting, with the ability to craft engaging and optimised content.Â
- Proficiency in using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite to create visually appealing marketing materials.Â
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics (GA) and Google Search Console (GSC) to track and analyse website performance.Â
