We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Consultant to be a part of our Marketing team. You will be responsible for undertaking digital promotional activities and creating content for the company’s online campaigns as well as website collateral.
This includes copywriting for the company website, liaising with the designer in creating campaign collateral for brand awareness and lead generation campaigns, and working on a Paid Media and SEO strategy. This role will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers.

About You

  • At least 5  years experience in Digital Marketing and Content Creation
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to build innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Strong grasp and knowledge of digital marketing strategies, platforms, and tools.
  • Tactical ability to execute simultaneously against multiple competing priorities.
  • Deep brand management and media experience with an agency, retail, or technology company.
  • Possess digital marketing proficiency, using data to inform and support the organization’s decisions.
  • Solid knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Email platform analytics, etc.) and Excel for reporting and budget purposes.
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Proven success in driving creative, integrated digital media buying/social media campaigns from concept to execution and reporting, while improving a digital customer’s experience.
  • Demonstrates detailed thinking, exemplifies accountability and follows through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain the Moringa School Content Calendar
    • Creation of social media and paid media posters in collaboration with Senior Designer.
    • Conceptualize, create, proofread and post timely and engaging content optimized for the platform used and intended audience.
    • Collaborate with the creative working group to plan and develop content style and layout.
    • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy.
    • Keeping up-to-date with current digital trends and suggesting new ideas to enhance the digital strategy of the organization. 
    Paid Marketing
    • Contribute to the development and execution of market strategies for paid campaigns, including developing strategic roadmaps in collaboration with Product Marketing Managers.
    • Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns against the set objectives for each admissions cycle
    • Track and analyze campaign performance to develop actionable insights that ensure maximum ROI for each admissions cycle
    • Document current strategies in paid media playbook and ensure adherence to all frameworks captured in the playbook
    • Conduct regular tests and ensure there is clear documentation of those tests for purposes of drawing analysis and actionable learnings
    • Maintain a clean account structure on all search platforms (e.g. Google AdWords, Bing) and social marketing platforms e.g (Facebook Ads)
    • Write attractive and concise copy for all paid adverts
    • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels
    • Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors
    • Keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends
    Search Engine Optimization
    • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
    • Conduct keyword research in collaboration with the Product Marketing Managers
    • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
    • Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy in collaboration with Product Marketing Managers
    • Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building) 
    • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
    • Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
    Copywriting
    • Liaise with the Webmaster to create new website pages, add photos and other enhancements.
    • Review landing pages for optimal customer experiences.
    • Lead copy development and delivery of digital marketing campaigns across digital channels, including Email, CRM, SEO/SEM, Display, and Web to promote our brand, products, and impact/outcomes.
    • Liaises with Product Marketing Managers to create email marketing campaigns
