Finance Manager
Job Description
Role Summary:
As the Finance Manager the purpose of this role is to manage and secure the company’s financial assets, including funds to ensure what is disbursed is collected. You will assess and report the financial performa- nce of the business. The ultimate goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term financial objectives.
Qualifications:
- Â The incumbent must be a Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Â Masters Degree in Business Administration Finance Option will be an added advantage.
- Â Professional qualifications from either CPA-K or ACCA.
- Â Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a finance role, 3 of which MUST be at Management level and leadership responsibilities.
- Â A certified Member of ICPAK.
- Â Experience in Microfinance is a MUST.
- Â 5 Years of proven experience in Collections
- Â Computer literacy and proficiency.
Disired Skills:
- Familiarity with microfinance principles, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks specific to the industry. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
- Â Strategic Financial Planning; Problem-solving skills.
- Â Financial Knowledge Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles is essential.
- Â Analytical Skills Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Strong interpersonal, management, and demonstrable leadership skills.
