Group Lead – User Experience Job
· Champion improvements to the existing customer banking channels to increase adoption and usage
· Recommend ways to reduce on costly channels and increase usage of more efficient channels for customers to access banking services
· Identify, recommend and execute improvements on existing channels to improve the Customer’s Experience increasing uptake and utilization
· Develop and execute the overall UX/UI design strategy, aligning it with the company’s goals and objectives.
· Lead and inspire a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster their professional growth.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure cohesive and user-focused design solutions.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, and champion their implementation within the organization
· Lead the creation of wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate the intended user experience and interface design
· Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality, visually appealing designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
· Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistency, usability, and adherence to design standards.
· Drive the adoption and implementation of design systems and guidelines, maintaining consistency across various digital products and platforms.
· Foster effective collaboration between UX/UI designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Present design concepts, strategies, and deliverables to internal teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and user-centered design principles.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and provide design assets for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
· Conduct user research activities, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
· Analyze research findings to inform the design process, ensuring that user requirements and preferences are integrated into the product design.
· Define and develop user personas, user journey maps, and other relevant artifacts to guide the design team.
· Integrate customer centricity into the channel development process through collaboration with the relevant business and technical teams
Qualifications
Academic:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Professional:
· Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
Desired work experience:
· Minimum 10 years’ experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and innovative design solutions.
· Extensive knowledge of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and usability best practices.
· Minimum 3 years experience with user research techniques, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
· Experience in implementation of electronic platforms and solutions
