JUNIOR SALES ASSISTANT
SUMMARY
As Sales Consultant, you are a key part of the Sales team at Zima Homes. You are responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. You have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to explain our affordable housing products and services through email and phone as well as demonstrate at Zima Homes site during customer visits. Ultimately, you will help us to exceed customer expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Market Research and Customer Needs:
– Conduct thorough market research to identify potential selling opportunities and understand market trends;
– Evaluate customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor solutions; and
– Identify and analyze competitive … to identify areas for differentiation.
2. Prospecting and Outreach:
– Actively seek out new sales opportunities, by building a strong pipeline of leads;
– Utilize channels such as cold calling, networking events and social media platforms to reach potential clients; and
– Organise, lead and attend at least 1 conference and/or activations to network with industry professionals and showcase Zima Homes.
3. Client Meetings and Relationship Building:
– Hold up to 4 sales meetings with potential clients (corporate, bulk clients or private entities), listen attentively to their wishes, concerns, and requirements;
– Negotiate effectively with clients to secure deals and address any objections or complaints professionally; and
– Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and rapport-building.
4. Represent the company in conferences and activations:
– Network with industry professionals and showcase the company’s offerings, during activations and conferences.
5. Negotiation and Deal Closure:
– Negotiate effectively with clients, handle complaints or objections professionally and address concerns promptly.
6. Collaborate with team members:
– Share insights, best practices, and strategies with team members to achieve better results collectively; and
– Learn from line managers and colleagues to continuously improve approaches and embrace constructive feedback.
7. Customer Relationship Management System
Utilize and comprehend the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system effectively as a key component of the sales assistant role.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience as a Sales Consultant in the real estate industry
- Proficiency in English and other languages
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suites
- Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
- Understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques and ability to apply them in practice
- Fast learner with a passion for sales and/or our products
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
- Self-starter willing to make the initiative with confidence and grit to secure new opportunities
- Clear communicator who can craft and deliver strong messages using a variety of channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong trusted relationships
- Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, delegate, and ask for help
- High personal integrity, trustworthiness, and reliability Strong writing and verbal skills
EXPECTED WORK DAYS PER WEEK – 3 days/week, physically on-site
