Marketing Manager Job Nairobi

Aspira is seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing Manager to join their team. S/he will be responsible for designing and deploying the Aspira Marketing and Communication Strategy. S/he will be responsible for developing, managing and reporting on all Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations (MarCom & PR) activities of the company.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the incumbent will also act as the brand custodian. S/he will also have two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities: 

Trade Marketing:

  • You will act as the voice of the Aspira Brand in retailer engagements, ensuring marketing campaigns align with our brand identity.
  • You will oversee the daily operations of MarCom & PR campaigns, covering SMS, emails, social media, Google ads, billboards, and activation campaigns.
  • You will ensure branding consistency across all touchpoints, from in-store to online and beyond.
  • You will efficiently manage vendors for marketing paraphernalia, ensuring SLAs are met with precision.
  • You will organize events such as product launches, exhibitions and photo shoots.

PR & Communications:

  • You will be responsible for crafting and deploying the MarCom & PR strategy, aligning it seamlessly with other functions.
  • You will provide monthly updates on strategy implementation, backed by continuous market monitoring and stakeholder consultations.
  • You will lead stakeholder consultations, internally and externally, to keep the pulse on shifting priorities.
  • You will foster full team awareness and engagement in MarCom & PR activities.

Brand Management:

  • You will stay ahead of the game by embracing Marketing/Communication best practices in the ever-evolving Financial Services industry.
  • You will analyze brand positioning and consumer insights then help shape and communicate their vision and mission.
  • You will align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.
  • You will support training, branding, and team development initiatives.

Requirements

About You

Must-Haves:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, PR, or a Design-related field.
  • You have at least five years of experience in trade marketing.
  • You have proven experience in taking a brand to the next level.
  • You exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You boast expertise in graphic design and social media management.
  • You stay abreast of Marketing and Communication trends and techniques.
  • You are innovative, creative, and trustworthy.
