Job Description
Scope of the role:
- Reports to: Lead BI Developer.
- Staff reporting to this post: No direct reports
Role Dimensions:
Over 60 countries with a staff complement in excess of 17,000 of which at least 50% are considered users of IT systems.
Key areas of accountability:
- Â Provide the organisation with accurate and timely Azure integration solutions based on requirements gathered through business partnering activities
- Â Maintain and support existing integration solutions
-  Proactively source new and innovative solutions that provide clear business value and construct ‘proof of concepts’ to demonstrate the new solutions
- Â Proactively identify any technical project risks/issues related to integrations
- Â Estimate and deliver integration project tasks to agreed prioritisation and timeframes
- Â Support the IT Service Delivery team with the integrations on the Azure integration platform
- Â Assist product owners in designing, agreeing, implementing and managing changes to the Azure integration platform
- Â Maintain accurate technical documentation
- Â Communicate data and insights

Qualifications
-  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
- Â Minimum 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, including experience with ETL processes and data modelling
- Â Proven understanding of application and data integrations.
- Â Knowledge of networking and data protocols.
- Â Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Integration tools and technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure Monitoring.Â
- Â Interest in Microsoft Azure Event Hubs and Event Grid.
- Â Interest in Event Driven Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture.
- Â Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to explain complex technical ideas and problems clearly to non-experts
- Â Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and strong problem solving skillsÂ
- Â Cultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions internationally working in an agile project delivery environment.
- Â Experience maintaining source control in Git or Azure DevOps
- Â Strong experience with various Software Development Life cycles (SDLC) methodologies: Agile or Standard waterfall initiatives
- Â Proven experience working with various Project Management practices and disciplines
- Â Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to augment a close working relationship with cross functional teams
- Â A history of designing and implementing reporting solutions that are both functional and engaging
- Â Meticulous attention to detail
Desirable:
- Â Proficiency in C#
- Â Terraform experience
- Â Non-profit sector knowledge/experience
