Department. You will play a key role in supporting our marketing strategies. and campaigns. Your contribution will help in expanding and maintaining our marketing channels.
Description
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing strategies to attract new EAWLS members, organize outreach events, create promotional materials, and utilize social media to drive membership sign-ups.
- Assists in Executing sales and fundraising strategies to achieve revenue and donation targets.
- Assists in Identifying potential advertisers, donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities through research and networking.
- Support the production of promotional material.
- Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns, fundraising events, and activities.
- Prepare and distribute EAWLS products to outlets and subscribers.
- Monitor sales trends, prepare and submit sales reports.
- Manage inventories at outlets and handle restocking.
- Support the sales of EAWLS products.
- Assist in sourcing new advertisers for Swara magazine.
- Help package Swara magazines for distribution.
- Assist in recruiting and servicing outlets for EAWLS branded merchandise.
- Maintain relationships with existing outlets, addressing their queries and ensuring product availability.
- Support below-the-line and above-the-line marketing activities for Swara and EAWLS merchandise.
- Represent EAWLS at exhibitions, fairs, and events to enhance brand visibility.
- Research and create sales and marketing plans to identify target clients for memberships, advertisers, Swara magazine subscribers, single copy buyers, and potential Forest Challenge sponsors and participants.
- Schedule appointments and meetings with potential members, advertisers, and supporters.
- Assist in identifying lapsed members and implementing campaigns to encourage them to renew their memberships. This could involve personalized communications, special offers, or targeted incentives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education
- The applicant must possess at least a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
- A Degree in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
More Details on Experience
- At least two (2) years relevant experience in sales and marketing.

- Strong communication skills: The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with outlets, members, and other stakeholders. They should be able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Research skills: A good understanding of research methodologies and the ability to gather and analyze data would be valuable to contribute to product development and market analysis tasks.
- Creativity and problem-solving: The candidate should demonstrate creativity in generating ideas,as well as the ability to think critically and find solutions to marketing challenges.
- Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive.
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with marketing software and online applications. (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords)
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
