Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and professionally.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to strengthen relationships and drive sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and areas for growth.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform business decisions.
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the farm’s products.
- Utilize social media and digital marketing strategies to reach a wider audience.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and control sales expenses to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients and distributors.
Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the agricultural or dairy industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed  Â
