Sales Lead (Hospitality) – Nairobi
Job Description
The Sales Lead (Hospitality) will be responsible to increase revenue, market share for the company by selling products home ware products to hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other hospitality businesses. He/she will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with existing customers to increase sales and promote the company’s brand.
In addition, the role holder will be identifying and prospecting new customers, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, negotiating and closing sales.
Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new customers in the hospitality industry.
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and promote repeat business.
Present and demonstrate products and services to potential and existing customers.
Negotiate and close sales with customers.
Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities and stay competitive.
Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Able to identify and analyze market opportunities, as well as develop and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on them.
Prepare and submit sales reports to management on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related field
At least 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality sale representative role, preferably in retail (homeware, linen Products) environment
Proficiency with computers and office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
Strong Negotiation skills with ability to communicate with clients/customers to reach an agreement
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult clients or situations with professionalism
Ability to work as part of team
Flexibility to visit clients
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on their feet.
