Job Description
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for partnering with the Senior Director, Operations Finance for East and Central Africa Franchise (ECAF), Franchise Senior Director/ Directors/ Senior Managers and Frontline Franchise Functions to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities for Northern Cluster. The role works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
What You will Do:
- Manage bottling partners and customer relationships at the local level for growth, alignment, and portfolio expansion.
- Drive end to end P&L management for the entire portfolio including volume, revenue, profit and margin analysis.
- Manage concentrate shipments, DSI and Account receivables with Bottling Partners and other KO Towers.
- Lead strategic finance processes for the region such as Long-Range Planning, Annual Business Plan, rolling estimates and Monthly performance reviews including identification and mitigation of risk and opportunities.
- Support overall commercial strategy & objectives including RGM, channel strategy and trade spend.
- Support insights and brainstorm with customers/Bottlers on local business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations.
- Manage all Business Models and Margins within the Cluster, including:Â Execution of business models optimization and system top line growth Value Chain Analysis Incidence Pricing negotiations with stakeholders at Cluster level. Â
- Main contact point for M&A analysis and assessment at cluster level; lead the financial implementation of new business models.
- Main point of contact for legal/Tax/Treasury/M&A at Region/ cluster level Â
- Lead tracking System Economics in conjunction with Africa Operating Unit team and provide recommendations to secure healthy System financials for the Cluster.
Role Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related qualifications
- Postgraduate/master’s degree/CPA or equivalent is an added advantage
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in senior financial planning or senior commercial finance roles
- Solid knowledge of Finance analysis.
- Computer proficiency, advanced excel and financial modeling.
- Forecasting & Scenario Planning and Project valuations methodologies
- Business and Commercial Acumen/ Finance Skills
- Agile ways of working.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
