Why we are hiring for this role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Consumer Experience product team that is responsible for the core experience of the consumer app. Your role will involve building beautiful consumer journeys that enable our users to evaluate services & find the right product for their needs.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will report directly to our Head of Product. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand our consumer base, uncover solutions that bring value to both our users and the business.

You will have the unique opportunity to shape our product culture as we are in the early days of building our product team.

We empower our product teams to tackle complex customer and business challenges, crafting solutions that not only delight our customers but also align with business goals. Our cross-functional teams are composed of a product manager, a product designer, and several engineers.

What you will do:

• Conduct market and user research to deeply understand user needs and preferences. Use insights to ideate, validate & build experiences that enhance the overall shopping experience on Cashia.
• Craft the Cashia consumer vision and formulate a product strategy based on solid insights and research.
• Ensure alignment on prioritisation within the team and communicate plans effectively to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Play a pivotal role in defining team goals and regularly track progress against them.
• Communicate plans and achievements to cross-functional partners and leadership. Drive the execution and successful delivery of team goals.
• Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to identify challenges, explore potential solutions, formulate hypotheses, run experiments, and build solutions.
• Ensure that products are compliant with local regulatory requirements and drive enhancements to safeguard our users.
• Understand that Cashia is a rapidly growing startup, and your role may encompass a variety of tasks beyond those outlined here. Embrace the dynamic nature of the environment and contribute proactively to the broader success of the team.

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 – 6 years of hands-on experience working on technology-powered products in a product management role.
• Demonstrated ability to devise solutions for challenging problems with many constraints. Exhibit sound judgement to assess risks and articulate your rationale through a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
• Proven ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships with engineers, designers, and company leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp multiple functional areas of business, including but not limited to engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
