Technical Sales Engineer – Westlands at Brites Management
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing market research and gathering client feedback to refine existing products.
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with current clients and meeting new clients to expand sales territories.
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
- Explaining and negotiating contract terms with customers.
- Maintaining and updating a record of all sales orders.
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
- Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Degree in Chemical/Water/ Civil/Mechanical/Water and Waster Engineering
- Must be aggressive in marketing
- 1 year experience as technical sales is added advantage
- Prospecting – proactively identify and qualify potential customers by developing contacts using referrals and pursuing leads.
- Customer engagement and retention.
- Timeliness in reporting – quality and accurate reports to inform on the average sales performance.
- Market awareness – accurately understand market trends and analyse customer buying patterns.
