The Role

We are looking for a skilled Timber Sales Manager, preferably with an extensive understanding of the timber industry and a proven record in B2B sales. In this role, you will lead one of the teams of sales specialists to secure bulk orders, provide bespoke timber solutions, and promote TimberX’s commitment to sustainable timber supply. You will nurture strong customer relationships and strive to exceed sales targets while staying up-to-date with industry trends and effectively communicating product specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure TimberX’s strong market presence.
  • Lead and coach the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts with potential clients and manage existing client relationships.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and market disruption.
  • Communicate product value proposition to customers, and provide feedback to the product development team to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the timber industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
