About The Role: Women In Sales Graduate Program- Sales Engineers
Yusudi in collaboration with the Women for Green Jobs (W4GJ) program, is supporting Plexus Energy in their search for four dedicated and motivated women to join their team as Solar Sales Engineers, playing a vital role in promoting residential solar energy solutions. Successful candidates will undergo a 6-month sales training program as they sell for Plexus. They will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to follow-up and closing deals for various residential solar applications, including home power backups, hybrid solar home installations, solar water heating, and solar security flood lights. They should be motivated and results-driven individuals with a genuine passion for renewable energy. This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of sustainable energy solutions while thriving in a dynamic and innovative sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Women In Sales Graduate Program- Sales Engineers
- You will identify and generate leads through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and partnerships.
- You will conduct market research to identify potential residential clients interested in solar solutions.
- You will deliver compelling and informative presentations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits of home power backups, hybrid solar home installations, residential solar water heating, and solar security floodlights.
- You will tailor presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of individual clients.
- You will maintain regular communication with leads to nurture relationships and address any inquiries.
- You will follow up on proposals, quotes, and contracts to ensure timely resolution.
- You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- You will negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring a win-win situation for both the customer and the company.
Technical Expertise
- You will provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, helping them understand the technical aspects of solar solutions.
- You will collaborate with the technical team to address specific client requirements.
Others:
- You will prepare and submit accurate and detailed sales reports.
- You will maintain proper documentation of all sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements
Must haves:
- You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- You have a strong understanding of residential solar solutions, including home power backups, hybrid solar home installations, residential solar water heating, and solar security flood lights.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You can understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- You are self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- You have high agility to learn and grow.
Nice to have:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry.
