What you’ll be getting up to: 

  •  Responsible for keeping all customer facing systems running smoothly 24/7 by actively monitoring the applications and systems using available monitoring tools.
  • Participate in incident triage and post-mortem reviews, and document any findings.
  • Take corrective action when needed by using automated process, and escalate more complex issues to higher level engineering or Development groups
  •  Hunt proactively any potential issues and prevent incidents by debugging production issues across the application stack.
  • Tracks and documents all issues and resolutions in detail through ticketing system
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) in order to support the application
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge accessibility
  • Ability to perform multi tasking and must be able to handle pressure.
  • Resourceful and can work independently.


  •  Experience on supporting large scale applications and systems.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills of applications error logs and audit trails.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing web server access and error logs in Linux and Windows based environments.
  •  Experience in reviewing and analyzing operating system error logs in Linux and Windows based environments.
  • Hunting mentality for system uptime and performance – explore edge cases, failure nodes, behaviors, or specific implementations.
  • Experience on using and configuring monitoring tools such as, but not limited to, Grafana, ELK, iCinga, and Appdynamics.
  • Experience in executing automated tasks and scripts tools to remediate production issues or collect information.
  • Familiar with Nginx, IIS, Apache, Tomcat and HAProxy technologies
  •  Experience in writing SQL queries for investigation
  • Experience in developing automated script using ansible or bash.
  •  At least 2 years of experience in Application support.
  •  Relevant experience in Service Delivery, Incident Management, Change and Problem Management Process.
  • Exceptional business communication skill.
