Job Description
This company delivers technical consultancy and application delivery to solve real-world problems and allow customers to respond to an ever-changing technical landscape. They partner closely with client in both the public and private sectors, embedding consultants into their businesses to provide a bespoke service, allowing them to understand their clients’ needs.
They are looking for a student to join them on a 12-month industrial placement from August 2024 to August 2025.

THE ROLE:
You will be supported by an assigned mentor and will work with consultants across various practices in the company. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple competencies, allowing you to develop your technical and consultancy skills and gain hands-on industry experience. You will gain experience designing and delivering the best technical solutions for clients, supporting their transition to a digital-first culture.
You will be interested and prepared to learn and develop your skills in various technology roles during your placement, including back-end development, front-end development, quality assurance, DevOps and incident management.
This is the ideal opportunity for you to showcase your skills and abilities, with potential to be offered a graduate role with the company once you have completed your degree.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
You must be working towards an undergraduate degree, which includes a sandwich/placement year, with a planned return to study in Autumn 2025.

- – Keen to get involved, interact and collaborate with others and work with a variety of consultants from all practices
- – Great communication, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- – Drive to learn new skills and technologies
- – Some understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies would be beneficial
- – Some familiarity with mainstream programming languages such as Python, Java or .Net is not essential, but would be beneficial
- – You must be fully flexible with location. Placements will involve some required days in the London office and if applicable, may also involve some travelling to client sites.
