About the job

BioMérieux Kenya is seeking a Financial Controller to provide prompt and accurate reporting of the company’s figures and financial results. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO Africa.

What will be your responsibilities within bioMérieux?

  • Assuring a timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to HQ’s,
  • P/L and B/S monitoring,
  • Commercial Operations controlling,
  • Profitability, installed base, and consumption analyses.
  • Organise financial functions including financial reporting & analysis and consolidation, cost control, and budgeting & tax planning
  • Monitor the cash flow of the company and ensure permanent Improvement of DSO Management
  • Organise general office administration, including purchasing, office management, renovation projects, insurance and payroll
  • Coordination with auditors, lawyers, and other consultants relating to any legal, company secretarial, and accounting issues
  • Participate in office operations in line with the group and local legal requirements.
  • Ensure reporting on Sales, Costs (OPEX), P&L; integrated Contribution, and relevant reports on the level of the related countries and departments.
  • Support the proper Budget Process.
  • Implement internal control, procedures & policies
  • Participate in the negotiation with non-group suppliers’ purchases;
  • Lead and ensure specific Analysis on request
  • Assist in distributors management 
  • Exchange with the relevant Departments and Contact Persons on the Group Level 
  • Improve the productivity of the related offices; Ensure the implementation of the action planning accordingly, Propose and Support Management Decisions.

Who are you?

  • Studies in the accounting or/end economic field,
  • Experience of 4 years as a financial analyst, 
  • ERP, Microsoft Office, Outlook
