Job Role: GROUP – HEAD OF QUALITY Dept.
Job Objective:
· Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
Functional Competencies:
- Essential functional competencies / skills
- Lead the hospital’s Quality Management Program
- Design & Implement hospital’s Quality Management Software.
- Lead the exercise for gap analysis and coordination with an external Hospital Accreditation agency.
- Prepare all departments of the Hospital in line with NABH, JCI and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Prepare Quality Manual for all units with support from Quality Coordinator at each unit Hospital.
- Conduct quality awareness program and training of internal auditors
- Liaison with external auditors for successful audit of units
- Work towards continuous improvement in quality
- Collaborate and consult with HOD’s regarding current quality control issues and assess the need for reengineering the business process to achieve desired outcomes and improvements.
- Collect, analyse and present data on relevant quality performance indicators.
- Prepare and review SOPs for clinical, administrative and support services with HOD’s and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate appropriateness of the hospital’s quality control plans and practices.
- Designs, schedules and conducts quality review audits as appropriate to the facility or service.
- Assist Medical Director in coordinating chart reviews and/or other medical record reviews and records and/or abstract specific relevant data as appropriate.
- Generate and/or coordinate the development of various reports regarding performance against quality indicators, as appropriate to the individual position.
- Participate in the planning, development, coordination, and presentation of specific training and educational programs as appropriate to the quality assurance needs of the facility or service.
Desired functional competencies / skills:
- Proven experience of working in operations and quality and faced full accreditations.
- In-depth understanding of hospital processes, best practices and accreditation standards
- Proficient in MS Office
- An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
Educational Qualification:
- MBBS/BDS/BHMS/ BAMS/BUMS/BPT
- MBA Healthcare management or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum relevant experience of 7 years in Hospitals
